Thank you very much for the marvellous send-off you gave me a few weeks ago. I was very touched by all the good wishes you gave me and by all the nice things Graham said. Thank you so much for the very smart proper chef's apron (already much admired), for the tea towel with the motto and for the Debenhams tokens.It was very generous of you and I'm looking forward to spending them, not quite sure on what …..maybe some new wine glasses; I love glass.

I miss you all very much, even though The Ness Bridge Club has been very welcoming, but I'm sure I'm right to come back to Scotland. It feels right. So, please stay in touch and please come and visit. I don't want to lose contact! Will let you know once I've bought a house.
